Terms and conditions

Last updated 31 October 2026

These terms apply to awesomerpg.com and to every web, phone and tablet app we publish under the Awesome RPG name, including anything you buy in them.

How we handle your data is in the privacy statement and the app privacy statement.

Who we are

Awesome RPG is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 11053393 and owned by Stefan van Dockum, Populierstraat 10, 5271 NX Sint-Michielsgestel, the Netherlands. You can reach us at super@awesomerpg.com.

What these terms cover

These terms cover this website, our apps and everything you buy from us. An app can add its own rules on top, for example about what you may publish in it. When it does, the app shows them to you, and where they differ, the app's own rules win for that app.

Using the site and the apps

  • You are welcome to browse, read and share links to this site.
  • Do not try to break, overload or get into parts of the site or the apps that are not public.
  • If an app has accounts, keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law. If that happens, we tell you why, unless the law forbids it.

What you make is yours

What you create in our apps stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, process it and show it back to you and, only when you choose to publish or share it, to others. You promise that you are allowed to upload what you upload.

What is ours

The Awesome RPG name, the flame and d20 logo, the apps, their texts, art and design, and the AdventureDoku covers belong to Awesome RPG. You may show our logo when you write or talk about Awesome RPG, as long as you do not change it or suggest that we endorse you or what you make. For anything else, ask us first.

Digital items you buy from us, such as theme packs or scene packs, are licensed to you for personal use at your own table. You may not resell, share or redistribute them.

Buying something

  • Prices are shown before you pay and include VAT. In the App Store and Google Play the store shows the price in your own currency.
  • In our web apps you pay through Mollie or Stripe, with the payment methods they offer in your country, such as iDEAL, Bancontact or a credit card. They handle your payment details; we never see your full card or bank details.
  • In our phone and tablet apps you pay through the App Store or Google Play. Their terms apply to the payment, and refunds for those purchases go through the store.
  • Your purchase is final once the payment is confirmed. We then unlock it in your account straight away and send a receipt by e-mail.
  • Purchases belong to the account you bought them with. Unless an app says otherwise, they are one-off payments, not subscriptions.

Your right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. What we sell is digital content that we deliver right away. At checkout we ask you to agree that delivery starts immediately and to confirm that you then lose your right of withdrawal. Once you have done that and the item is unlocked, you can no longer withdraw.

If you bought something without giving that confirmation, you can withdraw within 14 days by e-mailing super@awesomerpg.com. We refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method.

If something is wrong

What you buy has to work as we described it. If it does not, e-mail super@awesomerpg.com and tell us what is wrong. We repair or replace it, and if we cannot, you get your money back. This does not limit the rights you have as a consumer under the law.

Apps in the forge

Everything announced on this site that is not out yet is still being made. Names, features, platforms, prices and release dates can change, and an app may never ship. Nothing announced here is an offer you can accept.

Availability and changes to the apps

We work to keep the site and the apps online and working, but we cannot promise they will never be down. We may improve, change or end features. If we ever stop an app in which you bought something, we tell you in good time and make sure you can keep or export what you made where we can.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost data you could have backed up or lost profit. Our liability for anything you bought is limited to the amount you paid for it. These limits do not apply to damage we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, and nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of your own country.

Other websites

We link to sites we like, such as AdventureDoku and RPG Gear. We are not responsible for the content of websites we do not run.

Which law applies

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law of your own country gives you the right to go to a court at home. If you have a complaint, e-mail us first: we answer within 14 days and would much rather solve it together.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. A purchase always falls under the terms that applied when you made it.
